How to pronounce “DRVR”?

It is pronounced, “Driver”.

Do I have to buy any device to use with “Drive Safe” or “Drive Insights”?
No,  you don’t need additional hardware. Drive Safe and Drive Insights are app-based solutions and can be used stand-alone or integrated with your existing GPS device.
Do “Drive Safe” and “Drive Insights” have to work together?
Drive Safe and Drive Insights work separately with their own management portal but can be combined to offer you even more functionalities.
Is “Drive Safe” or “Drive Insights” offered in other languages?
Our application and platform support multiple languages including English, Thai, Japanese, Burmese, and Bahasa Indonesia. If requested, we can also consider adding support for additional languages.
What are the system requirements to use the management portal of “Drive Safe” or “Drive Insights”?
Our platforms work with the current version of most web browsers, but if you are experiencing any issues please contact our support team at info@drvr.co or at +66-98-918-7213.
What is the maximum number of drivers I can track on “Drive Safe” or “Drive Insights”?

The number of drivers you can track is unlimited.

How long does it take to deploy your solutions across my entire fleet?
You can deploy Drive Safe and Drive Insights across your entire fleet of drivers in a matter of hours.
How do you charge for the service?
We charge a monthly subscription fee based on the solution and the number of users.
Do you charge a setup fee?
Usually no. We only charge for subscriptions on a monthly basis. However, if your implementation requires additional development, we may charge a setup fee.
I do not see some features that I need in your solutions, can I request additional features?
Yes. Our in-house Development team can customize the solution for you on a case-to-case basis, and maybe with an additional charge.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
DRVR offers subscription-based services. We are customer-focused and happy to discuss how we can help you. Please book a consultation session with us for more details.
What if I want to see how your solutions work before making decisions?

How secure is my data?
DRVR takes data security and customer privacy matters very seriously. You may read about our policy here. We can provide access to our security and IT policies on request.

Drive Safe

What is “Drive Safe”?
Drive Safe is an app-based solution for monitoring and recording driving behavior. By using the latest technology on smartphones, Drive Safe detects driving events and provides insightful data to help you improve the safety, productivity, and efficiency of your fleets and drivers.
What driving events does “Drive Safe” track?
Drive Safe uses smartphone sensors to detect critical driving events including:

  • Speeding
  • Harsh braking
  • Speed around corners
  • Rapid acceleration
  • Phone usage
  • Collision
Who needs “Drive Safe”?
Drive Safe is designed to help fleet owners, managers, and operators improve the safety and efficiency of their fleets.
With driving behavior data and driving scores, Drive Safe is also a perfect solution for insurance companies looking to attract and retain customers with innovative insurance products at a low acquisition cost such as Pay per trip, Usage Based Insurance (UBI), and Insurance Qualified Leads (IQL).
We are also working on a consumer-focused version of Drive Safe which will be released shortly.
Will “Drive Safe” work in my country?
If you can access Google Play or App Store in your country, you can use Drive Safe. Contact us to discuss your localization requirements at info@drvr.co or at +66-98-918-7213.
Do I need internet access* to use “Drive Safe”?
Yes, the mobile internet needs to be enabled for the app to work properly. This will allow the trips to be recorded and the notifications to be sent out in case of emergency.
When I am offline, will my trip still be recorded?
Yes, the trip will still be recorded only if you are offline for a short period of time due to driving in poor coverage areas such as a tunnel.
Will I be notified when a trip is being recorded?
No. The trip is being recorded automatically without interfering with your driving.
When not in any vehicle, is my data being collected?
No. The app will begin to collect data only when you are in a moving vehicle.
What if I am a passenger, using public transportation, or driving my personal vehicle, will my data be recorded?
By default, Drive Safe will record all of your trips. However, it can be set up to record data only between your working hours, e.g. 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, or only when connected to a specific vehicle via Bluetooth.
Good news! We are currently updating the app algorithm so it could distinguish between driver’s data and passenger’s data. Stay tuned for the new version.
Can I track usage in miles?
Yes, the app can track usage in both kilometers and miles. You may select the unit of measure you would like to use by going to the app Settings and Unit.
How accurate is “Drive Safe” location tracking?
The service is primarily designed for safety rather than tracking. The application monitors braking, accelerating, and other parameters to help improve driving behavior & safety.
Will my mobile phone work with “Drive Safe”?
The app is designed to take advantage of the smartphone’s advanced sensors. If your phone runs an Android or iOS operating system for the last five years or newer, it can work with Drive Safe.
Will the app drain all my mobile data?
Drive Safe uses a relatively small amount of mobile data. It will process data only at the end of a trip and send out alerts only when there is a critical matter such as a crash.

The average daily data usage (8 hrs/day) per driver is about 0.1 MB.

Do you offer a SIM card or mobile internet with your service?
Yes, we can provide a global roaming solution from our partner at a small additional cost as the app uses a small amount of data.
Where can I find my app verification code?
If you register the app via email, the verification code will be sent to your inbox. If you register with a phone number, the code will be sent as a text message to your phone.
Some countries restrict the sending of SMS which can impact the delivery. If you experience any issues with SMS gateways and the regulators, please contact our team at info@drvr.co or at +66-98-918-7213.
What happens if I delete the app by accident?
You can simply download the app again.
If you drive for a company, your Fleet Manager will be notified and you may be asked to reinstall the app. Don’t worry, your historical data will be safe.
Is there a driver’s guide for “Drive Safe”?
Yes, you can find the “User Guide” in the app Settings.
Do you offer training sessions?
Yes, we provide training online or in person.

What is “Drive Insights”?
Drive Insights is a business intelligence analytics platform that gathers real-time critical data about your fleet such as fuel consumption, fuel efficiency, fleet idling, and CO2 emission, and provides you with actionable insights. With its visually stunning, customizable, and easy-to-use dashboard, Drive Insights can help you make a better-informed decision anytime.
Who needs “Drive Insight”?
If you are fleet owners, managers, or operators who need access to real-time data, or are concerned about fuel consumption & efficiency of your fleet, or are not satisfied with the data & reports from your current GPS platform, you need Drive Insights.
Will my current GPS device work with “Drive Insights”?
Drive Insights supports a wide range of GPS providers. In most cases, if your GPS device is less than five years old, it should work with Drive Insights.
Is there a Fleet Manager’s User Guide for “Drive Insights”?
Yes. You may request a user guide from our customer service team or product manager.
